Loan portfolio
The Bank’s loan portfolio (before provisions) increased by 12.6% to RUB 251.4 bln in 2019 driven by the growth of mostly all lending segments. At the same time, the corporate loan portfolio (before provisions) increased by 13.6% and amounted to RUB 158.8 bln. The individual loans portfolio increased by 11.0%, to RUB 92.6 bln. The growth among the products of the retail loan portfolio was mainly provided by rise in consumer loans by 26.8% to RUB 19.6 bln, and the mortgage increase by 6.8% to RUB 72.0 bln.
The net total loan portfolio for the year increased by 12.1% to RUB 233.8 bln.
Customer accounts
Customer accounts in 2019 reached RUB 437.6 bln rising by 21.6% at the end of the reporting period. This growth was mainly achieved by an increase in the corporate accounts (by 27.6% to RUB 313.6 bln). In addition, individual accounts increased by 8.6% to RUB 124.0 bln.
Within the liabilities structure, the share of customer accounts at the end of the reporting period amounted to 92.7% against 90.6% at the beginning of the year.
Equity
At the end of 2019, the amount of the bank’s equity increased by 12.2% as a result of the profit generated for a total of RUB 7.6 bln. The equity amounted to RUB 79.5 bln as of 31 December, 2019.
The profit growth derived from the increase in net interest income by 15.4% to RUB 13.8 bln. The bank increased its net fee and commission income by 8.3%, to RUB 3.4 bln. At the end of 2019, the bank’s assets grew by 17.8% compared to the beginning of the year, and amounted to RUB 551.8 bln.
