Successfully implementing its activity in the financial services market the Bank realizes all its responsibility in the face of the people living in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Socially responsible conduct of the Bank is reflected in its charitable activity and sponsorship.
Situated in the Republic of Tatarstan - a subject of the Russian Federation characterized by a special ethnic culture the Bank pays much attention to preserving cultural identity of the Tatar nation and at the same time assists in organizing actions aimed at uniting representatives of different nationalities, cultures and confessions. Traditionally, on 1 September — „The Day of Knowledge“ each first former of the republic receives from the Bank a present — a colourful text-book on studying state languages of the Republic of Tatarstan. Each year it became a tradition to grant financial assistance for arranging a Tatar national holiday — Sabantui, a nation-wide holiday not only in the Republic of Tatarstan, but outside the republic as well. AK BARS Bank finances building and reconstruction of religious buildings of cultural worth on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan basing on the principle of equal attitude to religious denominations.
One of the Bank’s priorities in its charitable activities is providing support to children and young generation. The Bank instituted name grants for the students of higher institutions for their successful results in their academic, scientific and creative activities. The Bank also gives funds for children’s institutions, sport organizations, for supporting talented children and creative young people.
The Bank regularly gives financial assistance to needy and old people, invalids, for treatment of sick people suffering from severe diseases.
Participating in reaching the goals of the regional development, including formation of the cadre potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Bank is a permanent sponsor of professional arrangements, conferences and forums. The Bank is active in its charitable policy regarding municipal bodies, giving assistance for organization of cultural and other arrangements, as well as participating in protection of environment.
